The song remains the same when it comes to mock drafts and what they show when it comes to the New York Giants and the No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The overwhelming belief is that the Giants should select a receiver with that pick.
This week, version 5.0 of our mock drafter shows that 31 of the 52 mocks (59.6 percent) used have the Giants selecting a receiver. Wide receivers Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith of Alabama and tight end Kyle Pitts of Florida are each chose nine times (17.3 percent). Ja’Marr Chase of LSU was selected four times (7.6 percent).
Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye was the most-often selected defensive player. Seven mock drafts (13.5 percent) gave Paye to the Giants.
