Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Jordan Raanan calls this “the Giants’ best win of the season” and points out that their 3-6 record is, somehow, their best start since 2016.
The Raiders scored one TD on six trips into the red zone, and nobody loves a smothering defense more than Cowher, who coached the Steelers to a Super Bowl championship.
“You talk about a team that’s on the rise, that’s the New York Giants,” he said. “On Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, they held them to 20 points. They came out again today and what they did — taking the ball away. (Cornerback) Xavier McKinney, look at this kid, a second-year player from Alabama. He’s smart. He understands the game. He breaks on the ball. He takes great angles to the ball.”
A ‘B’ for the Giants and ‘C’ for the Raiders.
The Giants threw for 96 yards, their lowest in a win since 2007.
This is the first day of the season that Daniel Jones is not the team's leading rusher. Devontae Booker overtook him today and leads Jones 315-258.— Tom Rock (@TomRock_Newsday) November 7, 2021
