Giants, win, 23-16! [FULL RECAP]
Giants lead by 7: A 38-yard field goal by Graham Gano made the score 23-16 Giants with 3:21 to go. The score was set up by Xavier McKinney’s second interception of the game.
Three more for the Giants: A 32-yard Graham Gano field goal made the score 20-16 Giants with 14:07 left in the game. The Giants went 62 yards in 13 plays, with Daniel Jones hitting Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney on a pair of critical third-down completions.
Las Vegas pulls within a point: Daniel Carlson’s third short field goal, this one a 25-yarder, pulled the Raiders within 17-16 with 5:20 remaining in the third quarter. Las Vegas went 85 yards in 15 plays, taking 8:08 off the clock following McKinney’s interception for the Giants.
Pick 6 for McKinney: Xavier McKinney intercepted a Derek Carr pass and went 41 yards for a score to open the second half, giving the Giants a 17-13 lead. with 13:28 left in the third quarter. McKinney’s interception came on a third-and-7 pass intended for Hunter Renfrow.

Halftime stats: Daniel Jones is 9 of 9 for 71 yards and a touchdown. He has been sacked twice and fumbled once. Devontae Booker has 13 rushes for 78 yards. Booker also has three receptions for 23 yards.
Raiders grab halftime lead: Daniel Carlson hit a 32-yard field goal to give the Raiders a 13-10 lead with :06 left before the half. The Raiders went 56 yards in 10 plays for the score.
Giants tie the score: The Giants tied the game at 10-10 on a 35-yard Graham Gano field goal with 3:24 left in the half. The Giants drove 43 yards in nine plays, taking 5:14 off the clock.
Raiders take 10-7 lead: The Raiders took advantage of a Daniel Jones fumble to take a 10-7 lead on a 25-yard Daniel Carlson field goal with 14:48 left in the half. Jones fumbled when sacked by Yannick Ngakoue of the Raiders. Las Vegas took possession at the Giants’ 30-yard line.
Raiders match: Las Vegas match the Giants’ opening score with one of its own. David Carr hit Hunter Renfrow with a 2-yard touchdown pass to cap a 10-play, 73-yard, 5:02 drive. The score is 7-7 with 5:44 remaining in the first quarter.
Giants take early lead: The Giants went 75 yards in seven plays for an early 7-0 lead on their first possession. Daniel Jones hit Evan Engram with a 30-yard touchdown pass to cap the drive and give New York the lead with 10:46 remaining in the first quarter.
The 2-6 New York Giants, trying to head into their bye week on a positive note, are 3-point underdogs Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders (5-2).
Saquon Barkley will miss a fourth straight game for the Giants with an ankle injury. Sterling Shepard (quad) will also miss his fourth game this season. Wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee) will play after missing the last three games. Edge Oshane Ximines, a 2019 third-round pick, is a healthy scratch.
