Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Michael Strahan gets his “heart ripped out” watching the Giants

Michael Strahan didn’t beat around the bush while discussing his former team with Kevin Hart this week on Laugh Out Loud Network. Here’s what the Hall of Famer had to say:

Hart: Are you still a Giants fan? I know you played there and that’s where your heart lies but let’s cut to the chase...What a sh*tty organization! I mean when you really talk about the bottom of the barrel, a team that can’t get it right...it’s just a f*cked up pile of sh*t. Do you still love this organization, Mike?

Strahan: Yea, I’m still a Giants fan.

Hart: How do you feel about your season this year?

Strahan: “We suck, Kev! We Suck!! Right now we suck. What can I say? It’s heartbreaking every Sunday. I gotta sit there in that studio and have hella guys give me a hard time and I gotta sit there and have my heart ripped out because we [always] find a way to lose games!”

Strahan made time for some familiar talking points, like thanking Donovan McNabb for helping him break the single season sack record in 2001 and reaffirming that Lawrence Taylor is the greatest linebacker in history. Still, this isn’t what you want to hear from a New York legend.

Giants’ Evan Engram: This trade deadline was ‘amplified a little bit’

“This is probably the fourth year of it, this time of year, stuff has been going around,’’ Engram told The Post on Wednesday. “I definitely kind of grew numb to it. We had a big task in Kansas City so I didn’t put a lot of time into it. It came and it went and I’m still here, so they’re still going to get everything I’ve got and I keep working here.’’

New York Giants COVID Testing Update

It still seems that the Giants’ COVID outbreak was mostly false positives, but the team is conducting meetings virtually just in case. Players that tested negative are still practicing.
