Mock Draft (forgetting all pretence of ANY delusional thoughts for playoffs next year)

#5. EVAN NEAL T ALABAMA (Improbible unless someone trades up for a QB)

#7. Trade. ( Left some really good players here, ...but the board gave 3 trade options....one great one! )

#42. CHRISTIAN HARRIS LB ALABAMA (multiple abilities, ...but finally, somebody to cover a TE! (it's a theory we in Giants never, neverland dream of....)

#60 J. PATTERSON C NOTRE DAME ( or G )

#62 DAVONTE WYATT DT GEORGIA

#100 J. RUCKERT TE OHIO ST.

#135 JAXON KIRKLAND G WASHINGTON ( He won't last this long, ...but if he moves lower by draft day, still a yes!)

#145 DANIEL FAALELE T MINNESOTA (OMG! Got to have this guy Read his scouting report in PFN! If he pans out we don't want him on another team, lol! At least not in NFC EAST... Maybe move him to nose tackle if he is not OT material...

No more picks past #145. All traded!

NOW FOR THE REASON I TRADED OUR #7 FIRST ROUND PICK, AND SEVERAL OTHERS! HERE ARE THE EXTRA

2023 PICKS I AQUIRED:

#1 ATLANTA

#2 NEW ORLEANS

#2 NEW ENGLAND

#3 NEW ORLEANS

#3 CAROLINA

#3 KANSAS CITY

#4 CAROLINA

#4 KANSAS CITY

#5 KANSAS CITY

Just seems unrealistic, all these picks....

SO THAT GIVES US IN 2023: 3 FIRST ROUND 3 SECOND'S 5 THIRDS 3 FOURTH? and 2 FIFTH ROUND?

* I don't remember how many #4 and #5's we had before)

I

EVAN NEAL cemented the thought of trading #7 pick. Big hopes for that guy!

If Neal isn't available, ...I would have taken Kenyon Green,Guard TEXAS A+M

Then a choice between, Linderbaum CENTER or Hutcheson EDGE .....or a trade down! Since Linderbaum is always available between #15 and #20, I trade down for more 2023 assets and draft Linderbaum...our center! Passing on Hutcheson was easy for me knowing I'm setting up with a boatload of high 2023 draft picks.

Priority for 2021 draft, .... Get 1 of : Evan Neal or Kenyon Green and one of: Tyler Linderbaum or Jarret Patterson while trading down

Ruckert, Kirkland and Faalele ....LOVE THEM! But we all know this draft board is gonna look way different by April.

I also know loading up on 2023 draft picks won't be this easy, ...but I have not included ANY picks we might acquire by trading current players.

So my vision for this team isn't about wins and losses for the rest of 2021, 2022.... or even part of 2023. Let's find and keep what players we have NOW that can help us in 2023 and beyond.

Anybody else is tradeable for best deal out there. IE: PEPPERS AND SHEPHERD for a #1 in 2022? No? Maybe 2023? Hell, ...I'd take 2024! .... Settle for a second round pick? or add a third player like Lemieux or Hernandez since Peppers would be in option year. Leo Williams? ...Realistically, what's he worth? He already has the brunt of his money up front. So I suppose a team would be interested in him, ...but I'd want a #1 because he is not costing 21 million anymore.... Not even the Giants have to pay that! Only what's LEFTon his contract. So I wouldn't just give him away because a good team with better players around him than we have, ...well Leo might excel there!

Anybody know what he's paid now per year? Does it average out to 15 mill....13.... 18? I'm curious.
