The wounded Seattle Seahawks (2-4) are set to host the rested New Orleans Saints (3-2) on Monday Night Football.
The matchup is an important one for Seattle, which has lost two-straight games and is now tied for third place in the ultra-competitive NFC West. The Seahawks are playing in their third primetime game following a 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime last Sunday night and a loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. With Russell Wilson still recovering from finger surgery, Geno Smith will get the start under center once again.
New Orleans, meanwhile, is coming off a bye week and has had more than two weeks off and plenty of time to prepare. The Saints defense is allowing just 18 points per game and has helped lead the team to two wins in their last three games.
