Good morning, New York Giants fans!
NFL Rookies: Top 15 highest-graded players through Week 6
Ja’Marr Chase is the only rookie wide receiver ranked higher than Kadarius Toney.
7. WR KADARIUS TONEY, NEW YORK GIANTS
PFF overall grade: 77.0
Toney aggravated his ankle injury just six snaps into last Sunday’s game against the Rams. In the two games prior, when he first cracked the starting lineup, Toney racked up 267 yards on 16 catches with eight broken tackles.
Former Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes critical of team’s play
“You’d have to think they’d play with a little more heart with that NY on their helmet and us being there and a home game, I don’t know,” Tynes told Danielle McCartan on Wednesday night. “It just looked very bad.
“I just don’t know how much pride people have in playing for the Giants,” Tynes said. “This new age of players. When I was there…there was just this huge sense of pride. I played for the New York Football Giants. There’s nothing cooler in the world.
“They gotta figure it out. The losing has been happening for just way too long.”
