This game looked like sure loss for the New York Giants a couple weeks ago.

The Carolina Panthers were undefeated after the first three weeks of the season and Sam Darnold looked to be following a similar career trajectory as Ryan Tannehill after leaving Adam Gase. But then the Panthers played the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Minnesota Vikings and dropped all three — though they were tight games. Darnold looked like his worst self against the Vikings, despite the close overtime loss.

So now we have a matchup between two reeling teams in the 1-5 Giants and the 3-3 Panthers. Carolina comes into the Meadowlands as 3-point road favorites, but what kind of challenge do they present to the Giants?

In this podcast

  • Who are the Panthers threats on offense?
  • What has gone wrong over the last three weeks?
  • Just how good is Carolina’s defense?
  • Where can the Giants’ offense attack?
