Matt Patricia, former Lions coach, is returning to Patriots
I thought Patricia would be a great fit with the Giants. He could have replaced outside linebackers coach Bret Bielema, who left for the head coaching job at Illinois. Patricia also would have given the Giants a potential replacement for Patrick Graham should the defensive coordinator get a head-coaching job down the line.
