Our second week of tracking 2021 NFL mock draft trends reveals a clear preference among mock drafters for giving the New York Giants a receiving weapon with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
We have 31 mocks in this week’s tracker, and 16 of those (51.6) have chosen a receiver for the Giants with their first overall pick. Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle of Alabama were each chosen six times (19.4 percent). Kyle Pitts of Florida, the hybrid tight end/wide receiver, was the choice in four mock drafts (12.9) percent.
Edge defenders Kwity Paye of Michigan (four selections, 12.9 percent and Gregory Rousseau of Miami (three selections, 9.7 percent) were also popular choices.
