Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Leonard Williams is Pro Football Focus’s No. 2-ranked defensive lineman. Dalvin Tomlinson is No. 5.
The Giants check in at No. 18, pretty much middle of the pack. PFF lauded the play of James Bradberry, who ranked fifth among outside corners in PFF coverage grade and fourth in forced incompletion rate (21 percent).
PFF ranked the Giants pass rush No. 19, also middle of the road. PFF called it “bizarre” that the team’s top four pressure marks all came from interior defensive linemen. Leonard Williams (62 pressures), Dexter Lawrence (29), Dalvin Tomlinson (28) and B.J. Hill (22) all had more quarterback pressures than the team’s top edge defender — Kyler Fackrell (19).
Gosselin always does the most exhausting special teams study anywhere. The Giants finished — you guessed it — middle of the pack at No. 19.
