NFL: New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants have made their post-training camp roster cuts and set their initial 53-man roster. There were some surprise cuts, like Ryan Connelly (who was claimed by the Minnesota Vikings) and Jon Halapio (who declined an offer to sign with the Giants’ practice squad), as well as some surprise suvivals, such as DT R.J. McIntosh.

The Giants are by no means done, and their roster will certainly be fluid over the coming days and weeks.

But for now we have the shape of the 2020 Giants, and the Chris and Joe Show is offering out thoughts on the roster.
