Thursday is the final chance players on the roster bubble to make an impression. Teams must cut their rosters from 80 players to the regular-season limit of 53 on Saturday. A 16-man practice can be assembled on Sunday afternoon once players released on Saturday clear waivers.
The Giants made several moves on Wednesday that could impact their season-opening 53-man roster:
- They sent a 2021 seventh-round pick to the Denver Broncos in exchange for cornerback Isaac Yiadom.
- They signed long snapper Carson Tinker.
- They signed center Jon Halapio and wide receiver/special teamer Johnny Holton.
