The New York Giants (0-2) host the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers (1-1) on Sunday at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/FOX).
This will be New York’s first game without Saquon Barkley, out for the season with a torn ACL. The Giants will also be without wide receiver Sterling Shepard, on temporary IR with turf toe.
The 49ers lost defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas to torn ACLs last Sunday. They will also be without quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, cornerback Richard Sherman, tight end George Kittle and several other starters on Sunday.
