Giants are 5.5-point underdogs to Chicago Bears

New York will be on the road trying to avoid 0-2 start

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Chicago Bears Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Can the New York Giants avoid the dreaded 0-2 start? To do so they will have to go on the road and defeat a 1-0 Chicago Bears team that engineered a comeback from a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit last Sunday to defeat the Detroit Lions, 27-23.

The Giants will be traveling off a short week, having lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night, 26-16. Draft Kings lists the Giants as 5.-5-point underdogs, with the Over/Under at 42.5. The money line lists the Giants as +200 and the favored Bears at -235.

Will the Giants be without wide receiver Golden Tate again? He missed Week 1 with a hamstring injury.

We will hear from Giants coach Joe Judge at 4 p.m. Wednesday and from select players at 5:40 p.m. as we turn our focus completely to the Bears.

Look for all of our staff picks on this week’s games to be posted on Thursday. Yours truly came out strong last week, going 12-4 picking Week 1 winners.
