Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Dalvin Tomlinson talks about Patrick Graham

Current Giants’ defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was the team’s defensive line coach when Dalvin Tomlinson was a rookie defensive tackle in 2017. Tomlinson has grown into a solid player and a leader since then. He said Thursday during a videoconference that Graham has also grown.

“He is a great guy who has grown a lot. You can just tell it’s a lot of pretty much the same techniques,” Tomlinson said. “I always catch him coming into the D-line room and talking to us all the time. We are his favorite group, I guess you could say, because he used to be a D-line coach. He’s always teaching us different techniques that remind me of the stuff he used to teach my rookie year. A lot of great stuff going on and we just keep improving on the techniques he’s teaching us.”

Entering his fourth season, Tomlinson said Graham’s defense allows him to be “super aggressive” and that it reminds of his collegiate days playing for Alabama.

Identifying the Biggest Missing Element in Giants' Pass Rush

“It’s an environment that has to be created,” Umenyiora said of pass rushers on a team. “(Lorenzo) Carter, (Oshane) Ximines—these guys can be very good pass rushers, but somebody has to be there to explain to them and teach them the actual art of pass rushing.”

J.J. Adams: No block party for Rysen John in New York, Giants camp is all about business | Winnipeg Sun

“I walked around the neighbourhood before training camp started, but I haven’t driven or Ubered anywhere, so I haven’t hit up the city,” said the 22-year-old. “My main focus has been training camp, ever since I’ve been here, ever since I flew into New Jersey. My experience out here has been pretty surreal, honestly.

“Playing Division 2 football, and now jumping up to the NFL level … like I said, it’s the dream. You dream of this as a kid, and now it’s right here in front of your hands,” he added.

“You have to take advantage of the opportunities that you have right now. So far it’s been a blessing, pretty surreal, but at the same time though just trying to stay focused on what I need to do and just do my part.”
