Logan Ryan chatter heating up
Yours truly endorsed the idea of the Giants going after veteran defensive back Logan Ryan in free agency months ago. Well, Ryan is is still a free agent. The Giants have even more of a need in their secondary than they did all those months ago. Ryan just switched agents, and the idea of Ryan to the Giants is heating up again.
NFL.com says Ryan wants to be in uniform for someone Week 1.
The New York Post says “Ryan is ready to make a deal” and adds that “It is easy to see why adding Ryan is attractive to the Giants.”
That, of course, is because there is only one proven cornerback on the roster and the Giants just lost rookie free safety Xavier McKinney to a broken foot.
