The New York Giants continue to make roster moves as they work through the ramp-up portion of training camp.
A source has confirmed to Big Blue View that the Giants’ latest move is to release EDGE Dana Levine. Levine’s release was first reported on Twitter by Draft Diamonds.

The Giants signed Levine as an undrafted free agent out of Temple following the 2020 NFL Draft. The red-shirt senior notched 11.0 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks his final season in college and was considered a potential sleeper to make the Giants’ final roster at a relatively thin EDGE position.
The Giants’ decision to release Levine is likely connected to the addition of Markus Golden back onto the Giants’ roster. Golden reported to the Giants training camp on Saturday, and will officially sign his unrestricted free agent tender once his five-day COVID-19 testing period is complete.
Rosters will likely remain fluid for the foreseeable future.
