The Chris and Joe Show has been getting ready for the New York Giants 2020 season by going over the roster in a position-by-position preview.

With the news breaking of yet another twist in the DeAndre Baker case, we had to turn our attention to the cornerback position. The Giants have invested considerable resources in their secondary over the years, completely rebuilding it from the “NYPD” unit which helped carry them to the playoffs in 2016. And this year the success or failure of the Giants’ defense could hinge on the cornerback position. So this show we are taking a look at the players on the roster and how they might cope with the potential fallout from the DeAndre Baker situation.

In this podcast

  • The latest in the DeAndre Baker situation and how it might impact the season
  • What does James Bradberry bring to the secondary
  • Sam Beal, Corey Ballentine, and the number two corner job
  • Sorting out the Giant’ backups
  • Who stays, who makes the practice squad, and who goes home
