You’ll notice in the early stages of these 2020 New York Giants 90-man roster rankings that there is a bit of a systematic approach. Undrafted free agents, followed loosely by returning 2019 injured reserve and practice squad or reserve/futures contract players.
In looking at Nos. 80-71 you will see that the highest-ranked UDFAs are Javon Leake, Kyle Murphy, Austin Mack. As far as I can tell, those would be the three players who will enter training camp with the best shots at roster spots. It’s pretty difficult to separate Mack from Derrick Dillon and Binjimin Victor, but I suspect Mack might be most likely to stick around.
