Tae Crowder, the final player chosen in the 2020 NFL Draft, has become the first of the New York Giants 10 selections to sign his rookie contract. The Giants announced the signing late Thursday afternoon.
Crowder’s rookie deal is a four-year contract worth $3.405 million, per Over The Cap. Crowder will receive $110,144 in signing bonus pro-rated over the four years of the deal. His 2020 cap hit will be $637,536.
On the other end of the spectrum, fourth overall pick Andrew Thomas will eventually sign a contract worth $32.345 million.
Crowder was the fourth linebacker the Giants selected over the draft’s final two rounds.
Here is how Crowder described his skill set during a video conference with New York media:
“I’m an aggressive player, a disciplined player. A hard-working player and I like to make plays for the team,” Crowder said. “I can play SAM, I can play WILL and MIKE. I’m pretty good in coverage. I love to fit the run and I love to cover backs, too.”
