The New York Giants made four seventh round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, and their first one might just be their best pick of the entire draft.

The Giants selected Carter Coughling out of Minnesota with the 218th pick in the draft, but he was a player expected to go much earlier. We graded him as a fifth round value on the 2020 Consensus Big Board, and Coughlin brings an intriguing skillset to the table.

Here on The Chris and Joe Show, we’re taking advantage of the lull in the NFL’s calendar to take a series of deep dives into the Giants’ 2020 draft class and it’s time to turn our attention to Carter Coughlin. Just what makes him such a (potentially) great pick?
