Rookie CB Darnay Holmes will wear No. 30 for the Giants. After receiving the number, he texted the father of an 8-year-old boy named Maverick Martzen, who was killed in a tragic auto accident in early 2019 in California.
Sounds like 30 was Maverick’s number. Holmes, the former UCLA Bruin, will be playing for the young boy who passed away.
