Tweets of the Week: What the Giants were saying on social media

Past and present Giants tweets and Instagram posts from this week

Players past and present on the New York Giants always seem to have something funny or interesting on social media, and sometimes it slips by us. In this feature we’ll keep you updated with the latest chatter by the players - whether it’s good, bad or ugly.

Here we go, Giants fans!

Rookie CB Darnay Holmes will wear No. 30 for the Giants. After receiving the number, he texted the father of an 8-year-old boy named Maverick Martzen, who was killed in a tragic auto accident in early 2019 in California.

Sounds like 30 was Maverick’s number. Holmes, the former UCLA Bruin, will be playing for the young boy who passed away.

Speaking of Holmes, he posted a pic showing him getting new ink in Los Angeles. Did Saquon throw shade at Odell Beckham Jr. in the comment section?

Running back Jon Hilliman put up a poll that’s sure to rile up any defensive back fans out there. Which legendary Miami Hurricanes/NFL safety would you take: the late Sean Taylor or Ed Reed?

Second-year wideout Darius Slayton drops anime knowledge on us.

Don’t take Enzo’s toy or there will be trouble

The Giants released their new rookie numbers. For any Giants fans out there who also watch NHL, check out the number they gave rookie OL Shane Lemieux.

Safety Julian Love wants to play a very fun older video game.

And finally, Giants players show love to their moms for Mother’s Day.
