Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Joe Judge on Daniel Jones
Giants rookie head coach Joe has finally used Daniel Jones name in public. Well, at least his name. Judge did so when asked about the second-year quarterback on the ‘Tiki and Tierney Show.’
“I’m very excited about working with Daniel. I love his toughness. I love his competitiveness,” Judge said. “Those shine through right away.”
Judge wouldn’t put any expectations on how good Jones could become.
“The reality is right we’re talking to guys through computers. So to make a prediction for someone’s career, to make a prediction for a team, that’s not realistic at this point.”
Judge also added this about Jones:
“I love working with this guy every day. He’s got a fire that burns within him. He brings other guys along with him. He shows up every day. He knows what you’re going to teach before you’re teaching it in terms of being prepared. He sets the tone for the room. ... I’m glad he’s on our team. I’m really glad he’s on our team.”

Brian Baldinger thinks the Giants might have hit on a long-term starter with the selection of Matt Peart in Round 3:
“I think Peart has an upside because he has the arm-length of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the football field,” Baldinger told NJ Advance Media. “He needs to get stronger, but he can be their right tackle.”.
Giants legend Mark Bavaro is the 1 person who understands Rob Gronkowski’s Buccaneers comeback - nj.com
“I always thought after a year of healing up, despite past injuries, that he was young enough [Gronkowski turns 31 next month] that he’d still feel the ability and desire to play. ... That was my expectation, and the advice I would have given him is that it’s not fun, going to another team, that it’s hard, and I thought that alone might dissuade him from doing it. But there’s one scenario I never figured in my mind, and that’s what is what’s going on right now. He surprises you when you don’t think there are surprises left.”
