Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Maurice Moton suggests a trade all the way down to No. 14 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In my view, that’s too far.
In all the frenzy about the draft, this is one thing so many fans fail to remember. Free agency shapes the draft, so it is really impossible to know how things will go until we see what happens in free agency.
This is one of the better, easiest to understand breakdowns of the proposed CBA that I have seen.
Paul Schwartz writes:
Of all the positions the Giants need to attend to, there is no more glaring absence of experience than at cornerback. This is alarming. Schemes and strength elsewhere can camouflage weakness in certain areas, but a lack of wherewithal at cornerback will always come back to haunt a defense.
Hard to argue with that. The Giants saw it over and over in 2019.
As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
