Offensive tackles continue to dominate mock drafts for the New York Giants, with 43 of the 63 mocks (68.3 percent) in our tracker this week selecting an offensive tackle with the Giants first pick, No. 4 overall.
Jedrick Wills of Alabama (19 selections, 20.2 percent) was selected most often, followed by Mekhi Becton of Louisville (14 selections, 22.2 percent) and Tristan Wirfs of Iowa (8 selections, 12.7 percent).
Linebacker Isaiah Simmons of Clemson was also selected 8 times, and cornerback Jeffrey Okudah was the choice 7 times (11.1 percent).
A week ago, Wills was was the runaway choice. Now, Becton and Wirfs have gained significant support.
One of the more interesting mocks in this week’s tracker is a three-round from Chad Reuter of NFL.com in which he trades down one spot with the Miami Dolphins, lands Becton with his first pick, and nets the Giants an additional second-round pick. For those wondering, the traditional trade value chart tells you that 56th pick from Miami is about the right value for moving down one spot.
All the mocks used this week are below.
