Jon Halapio is not currently part of the New York Giants roster, with the team having decided not to tender the injured center this offseason. Halapio, though, could still be in the team’s 2020 plans.
Which makes the series of tweets showing his progress in recovering from the Achilles tendon tear he suffered in Week 17 noteworthy.
Still working, still grinding !! Currently in Week 12 Post Achilles Surgery. Ahead of schedule and feeling great. I don’t understand why Im going through this tough time in my life but I know God got me! I just got to do my part and keep working !! #DaGut #OLineGang pic.twitter.com/ELFtuF1ZyY

The Giants currently have only Spencer Pulley as an experienced center. There is an expectation that they will address the position in the draft.
Still, provided he recovers sufficiently it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see Halapio in a Giants’ uniform this fall.
