Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Jaguars want Yannick Ngakoue around ‘one way or another’ - Jacksonville Jaguars Blog- ESPN

“There’s still a process that needs to be played, but I think you guys know how we feel about him, and we want him here,” general manager Dave Caldwell said. “We’re going to try to get him here and keep him here one way or another. So I think I’ll leave it at that.”

Valentine’s View: Giants fans can dream about Ngakoue — he would be my top target if if he hits free agency. It isn’t happening, though. Ngakoue is not getting out of Jacksonville.

NFL draft: Father's tragic death is driving force for Cesar Ruiz

Get to know Ruiz. He probably won’t last until the Giants select in Round 2 (No. 36). If he does, he has to be on the short list of potential selections.

Players unhappy about changes made to the NFL Scouting Combine | PFN

Yours truly didn’t mind them at all. For media, it was excellent. Interviews in the morning, the rest of the day to write, podcast, relax a little, network, socialize. If I was a player I’d hate waiting around all day to work out in prime time.

James Bradberry Unlikely To Re-Sign With Panthers

Ex-Gettleman draft pick would help the Giants, but there will be a lot of suitors and likely a bigger price tag than Bradberry’s talent deserves.

NFL Combine: Jeff Okudah could give Giants a Draft dilemma

The Giants spent a lot of draft capital on cornerbacks a season ago, but Okudah sitting on the board when the Giants pick might be too tempting to pass up.

Tua Tagovailoa to Redskins? Dolphins should be concerned - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

“You can win because of him, and you can win with him. That’s what’s exciting. He’s got that type of potential, but he’s got to grow into it and nothing will be given,” Rivera said of Haskins during his combine media session.

“He's not anointed, that's for sure. I expect him to come in and compete and work and we'll see what happens.”

Valentine’s View: The Redskins are blowing smoke here, trying to entice the Miami Dolphins into giving up the fifth and 18th picks in Round 1 to move up.

Russell Shepard hopes to finish career with Giants, but after football, aims to change another game: The agent game - nj.com

“I don’t want to be the agent of old times," Shepard told NJ Advance Media. “I want to be a modern-day agent, and that’s a life coach, a mentor on and off the field, that’s a guy that can help you maximize your brand. I think I can help these guys step into that role. The NFL and NFLPA want more former players as agents, and I’m here learning everything I can."

Valentine’s View: Shepard is a great guy. If he wants to be an agent, he will be a good one. Best of luck to him if that’s his career path.
