Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Performance-based pay distributed
A pair of Giants benefitted from the NFL’s performance-based pay system, the distributions from which were released on Thursday.
Center Jon Halapio earned $520.454 combined between the league’s veteran pool and the standard performance-based pay system, 16th-most of any player. Linebacker David Mayo earned $190,166 from the veteran pool.
Performance-based pay pay is computed using a formula comparing playing time to salary.
In this subscription only piece, four of the top 50 players land with the Giants. They are:
Linebacker Cory Littleton (No. 16)
Cornerback Bradley Roby (No. 34)
Right tackle Germain Ifedi (No. 47)
Defensive lineman Leonard Williams (No. 49)
No shocker, but the prediction for the Giants is that they keep Leonard Williams.
