Performance-based pay distributed

A pair of Giants benefitted from the NFL’s performance-based pay system, the distributions from which were released on Thursday.

Center Jon Halapio earned $520.454 combined between the league’s veteran pool and the standard performance-based pay system, 16th-most of any player. Linebacker David Mayo earned $190,166 from the veteran pool.

Performance-based pay pay is computed using a formula comparing playing time to salary.
