It’s a two-team race for the NFC East title, with the Giants and Washington Football Team both 5-7 heading to the last quarter of the season. The Giants, by virtue of beating Washington twice, hold the tie-breaker advantage.
Giants remaining schedule: Arizona Cardinals (6-6), Cleveland Browns (9-3), at Baltimore Ravens (7-5), Dallas Cowboys (3-9).
Football Team remaining schedule: At San Francisco 49ers (5-7), Seattle Seahawks (8-4), Carolina Panthers (4-8), at Philadelphia Eagles (3-8-1).
Football Outsiders lists the Giants with a 52.6 percent chance of winning the division, and Washington with a 45.8 percent chance.
FiveThirtyEight gives the Giants a 54 percent chance, with Washington at 43 percent.
ESPN’s Football Power Index gives the Giants a 57.2 percent chance of winning the division, with Washington at 39.5 percent.
