Giants’ injury report: QB Daniel Jones again does not practice

Jones threw on the sideline and moved around more than he had on Wednesday, but it looks more like Colt McCoy will be the QB vs. Seattle

Quarterback Daniel Jones was officially listed as “Did Not Practice” on Thursday for the New York Giants. The second-year quarterback, dealing with a right hamstring injury, did do some throwing and some moving around on the sideline.

“There are still a lot of questions more so than answers right now, [about Jones]” coach Joe Judge said prior to Thursday’s practice. “I know he’s doing everything he can to get back and be with the team. He’s preparing tirelessly, he’s in the building, he’s doing everything he can like it would be any other day. I know mentally where he’s at. We just have to check physically where he’s at and make sure we make the right decision for him.”

Judge said Slayton, who did not catch a pass on Sunday vs. Cincinnati, is “managing some different things,” but that they are “not too different from anything he’s dealt with throughout the year.”
