NFL: Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

The (6-8) Minnesota Vikings head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium Friday afternoon to battle the (10-4) New Orleans Saints.

Will Old Saint Nick leave the Vikings presents or coal this Christmas? We’ll find out if Santa can gift Minnesota a win on Friday afternoon in order to stay alive in the NFC wildcard race.

Surprisingly, the Vikings earn more yards per game on offense, but this figure may have been different had quarterback Drew Brees not gotten injured. The Saints, however, allow far less yards per game than the Vikings. New Orleans averages just 95 rushing yards against per game.

The Vikings will be playing desperate and pulling out all the stops. This should provide some real entertainment on Christmas.
