Preview
Can the 5-8 New York Giants upset the 9-4 Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET/NBC)? The Giants are 6.5-point underdogs, per Draft Kings Sportsbook.
The Giants will be without starting quarterback Daniel Jones, who has hamstring and ankle injuries. Colt McCoy, who started two weeks ago in the Giants’ upset victory over the Seattle Seahawks, will start.
The Giants will also be without James Bradberry, their top cornerback, who is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list as a high-risk close contact of someone outside the Giants organization who tested positive for the virus. Bradberry apparently visited a chiropractor not affiliated with the Giants outside the team facility, and did so without consulting the team.
The Giants enter the day in second place in the NFC East. The first-place Washington Football Team (6-7) faces the Seattle Seahawks at 1 p.m., the 4-9 Dallas Cowboys play the San Francisco 49ers at 1 p.m. and the 4-8-1 Philadelphia Eagles play the Arizona Cardinals at 4:05 p.m.
