Cleveland Browns at New York Giants Madden 21 Simulation

Will the Giants bounce back from their recent loss?

Will the New York Giants recover after their messy loss to the Arizona Cardinals? As the Cleveland Browns travel to New Jersey for Sunday Night Football, the Giants are currently dealing with COVID outbreaks and injuries at key spots. To help us determine the Giants' chances of success this weekend, we simulated the game in Madden 21.

Because Daniel Jones is currently listed as questionable, and recovering from two injuries, I decided to start Colt McCoy. That decision surprisingly did not slow down New York as it did against the Seahawks.

Both teams exchanged points in the first half, leading to a tight 13-10 score. McCoy pushed the game enough out of reach with a 38-yard touchdown heave to Darius Slayton. That 20-10 lead was apparently insurmountable for the Browns.

In an attempt to make a comeback, Baker Mayfield would hit Donovan Peoples-Jones after the two-minute warning. A failed onside kick was enough for the Giants to maintain their 20-17 lead as time expired.

The big performer in this simulation was Wayne Gallman, who rushed for 114 yards and one score. Darius Slayton also contributed with 87 receiving yards.

The Giants need a win against the Browns to close the gap between them and the Washington Football Team. However, is this simulation going to be correct?
