A New York Giants victory on Sunday combined with a loss by the Washington Football Team would put the Giants back in first place in the NFC East. Oddsmakers, though, don’t think the Giants are going to get that victory.
Draft Kings Sportsbook currently lists the 5-8 Giants as 3.5-point underdogs at home Sunday against the 9-4 Cleveland Browns.
The Giants are coming off a 26-7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The Browns lost a 47-42 thriller to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
Cleveland, has scored more than 40 points in back-to-back games. Cleveland has scored 40 or more points three times this season, and 30 or more points in four other games. That’s a problem for a Giants team that has reached the 30-point mark only once this season, and has not scored more than 19 points in any of its last three games.
Washington (6-7) hosts the 9-4 Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. Seattle is a 5.5-point favorite. That game is at 1 p.m. ET, so the Giants will know the result when they take the field on Sunday night.
