After losing three of their previous four games by three or less points, the New York Giants managed to come out on the winning side in Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Football Team at FedExField.

The Giants scored just three points in the second half but they totaled five turnovers in the game and managed to hold on for a narrow, 23-20, victory. New York improved to 2-7 on the season. Both of its wins have come against the Football Team.

In Week 10, the Giants will host the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/FOX). Oddsmakers think that New York is the underdog in the matchup, with DraftKings Sportsbook installing the Giants as 3.5-point underdogs in this week’s opening odds.

Philadelphia is just 3-4-1 on the season but leads the NFC East. They are coming off of a bye week and the last time the Eagles took the field, they handily defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 23-9. For the Giants, a win Sunday would catapult them toward the top of the division.
