Washington Football Team QB Kyle Allen likely won’t be playing football for a while after he exited Sunday’s game against the Giants.
Allen’s ankle dislodged in the opposite way than normal after taking a hit, and he was promptly carted off the field. Allen was replaced by veteran QB Alex Smith.
Here’s the gruesome injury. Don’t watch if you don’t like to see this kind of injury.
The only silver lining, reports Tom Pelissero, is that the injury might not be as bad as it looked on TV.
The initial diagnosis on Washington QB Kyle Allen is a dislocated ankle, but only a small fracture, source said. A significant injury, but somewhat better than it looked initially on replay.

Oh, boy. Kyle Allen's leg looked a lot like Dak Prescott's. Never want to see this.
