Kyle Allen injury. Washington quarterback Kyle Allen was injured late in the first quarter when he was sacked by Jabrill Peppers. The Giants safety was cut blocked and ended up hitting Allen low with what appeared to be an unintentional leg whip. Peppers was penalized. Alex Smith is in at quarterback for Washington.

The Giants will be without wide receiver Golden Tate. After twice yelling “throw me the ball” during Monday’s loss to Tampa Bay, and seeing his wife complain via social media, about his role with the team, Tate was left behind when the Giants boarded a train for Landover, Md.
