Running back Devonta Freeman will miss a second straight game for the New York Giants on Sunday due to an ankle injury suffered Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Freeman sidelined, Wayne Gallman carried 12 times for 44 yards and Alfred Morris saw his first Giants action, getting 8 carries for 28 yards.
In 5 games, Freeman has 54 carries for 172 yards (3.2 yards per carry). Even with that paltry total, he leads Giants running backs in yards and rushing attempts.
Guard Will Hernandez will also miss a second straight game as he is still in the COVID-19 protocol.
Everyone else on the injury report is expected to be available Sunday.
