Starting cornerback Ryan Lewis, added to the New York Giants’ injury report over the weekend with a hamstring injury, will be inactive Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Giants will also be without starting running back Devonta Freeman (ankle) and free safety Adrian Colbert (shoulder). Starting guard Will Hernandez is on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and won’t play.
The good news for the Giants on the injury front is that slot cornerback Darnay Holmes will be back in the lineup after missing a week with a neck injury.
For Tampa Bay, wide receiver Chris Godwin will be inactive after undergoing finger surgery.
The Giants have added running back Alfred Morris, defensive back Montre Hartage and offensive lineman Chad Slade to the roster from the practice squad.
