The New York Giants are 1-6, and if all you ever did was read the comments of fans here at Big Blue View or on Twitter you might believe there is nary a soul who believes that the Giants might be headed toward a brighter future.
Yet, per our weekly ‘SBNation Reacts’ polling, our voters continue to feel relatively good about the organization. Fifty-five percent of respondents in the most recent poll expressed confidence. That is down from 65 percent before the team’s Week 7 matchup, but still surprisingly high for a team with one victory in seven tries.
Confidence was at 83 percent when the season began. It reached a season-low 37 percent in Week 4.
The Giants face Tom Brady and the 5-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football, a matchup not expected to go well for the Giants. Tampa Bay is a 12.5-point favorite.
