The New York Giants announced Wednesday afternoon that punter Riley Dixon and long-snapper Casey Kreiter are both joining placekicker Graham Gano on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Gano was placed on the list on Tuesday after testing positive for the virus. The release from the Giants does not specify that Dixon and/or Kreiter have also tested positive. Players being quarantined due to contact with a person testing positive for COVID-19 can also be placed on the list.

The Giants had already moved to add Ryan Santoso to their 53-man roster from their practice squad. Santoso can handle both punting and placekicking duties if need be, as he did both while in college.

How the Giants would fill the long-snapping role and who would hold on field-goal or extra-point tries is unknown.

“Ryan’s a guy who has a huge leg, he’s shown a tremendous amount of improvement since he’s been here. It’s a unique skillset that he does all three, field goals, kickoffs and punts. He’s shown a lot of improvement in all three phases through being. I think Tom (Quinn) and T-Mac (Thomas McGaughey) do a tremendous job of working with this guy,” coach Joe Judge said on Wednesday. “We have a lot of confidence in Ryan. He’s definitely a developing player. I think he has a big upside in this league for a long time, I really do.”
