Golden Tate “moving forward” after fight

Giants wide receiver Golden Tate on Thursday did not want to discuss his post-game brawl last Sunday with Jalen Ramsey of the Los Angeles Rams

“Honestly, it’s Dallas week. I don’t even want to back pedal and discuss that, because I don’t think going back to that is going to help us this week and I really don’t want to draw any more attention or put any more highlights out there that don’t have anything to do with Dallas,” Tate said. “I just want to keep moving forward and get a win this week.”

Tate and Ramsey, who have family history involving Ramsey’s former relationship with Tate’s sister, brawled after Sunday’s game.

Leonard Williams on improved results

After having only a half-sack last season, defensive lineman Leonard Williams already has two this season. In his sixth season, Williams is on pace for career highs in sacks (8) and tackles (72). He was asked on Thursday to assess his play thus far.

“I think I have been playing good. I don’t think that I have been playing at a crazy higher level than I have been in the past. I think I’ve still been playing the same way I have been playing in the run since I have been in the league,” Williams said. “I think now in these first few games, I’ve just been able to make that sack count instead of those quarterback hits. I feel like my game hasn’t changed too much.

“I know I get lot of noise in the media. I’m always around the quarterback since I have been in the league. I think finally every once in a while, that one second goes in your favor instead of the opposite favor.”
