Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to New Jersey to face off with the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. As we do every week, I simulated this matchup to determine who could be the possible victor.
Last week’s sim did not have the same success as the previous weeks, as it incorrectly predicted a late Giants comeback. Instead, it was the Philadelphia Eagles who pulled off the late-game heroics.
This Madden sim did not have the same level of success for the Giants. While facing one of the best rosters in the game, the Giants surrendered an early 21-0 lead in the first half. Those three touchdowns came from Brady connecting with Rob Gronkowski, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin.
The only drive the Giants successfully scored on was in the fourth quarter. Sterling Shepard scored after a long 33-yard pickup.
The Bucs closed out the game with a field goal, finishing off the final score at 24-7. With that final outcome, Madden is predicting the Giants sliding to 1-7 halfway through 2020.
