The New York Giants started off week 7 of the 2020 season with a gut-wrenching loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on the road.

It all started off so promising, with the Giants establishing a 21-10 lead with just 6:10 left to play in the game. But then things went horribly wrong and the Eagles were able to score 12 unanswered points to seize the victory. The game also did nothing to silence questions about rookie offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, who continued to struggle against the Eagles’ formidable defensive front.

The Chris and Joe Show went back to the tape to break down what went wrong — and what went right — for the Giants in Philadelphia.

In this podcast

  • About Andrew Thomas’ struggles...
  • What are the Giants doing with Evan Engram?
  • The defensive line played well
  • Questionable decisions in the secondary
  • How the Giants’ lost their composure in the final six minutes
