One of the key questions for the New York Giants heading into Thursday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles - whether rookie offensive tackle Andrew Thomas would return to the starting lineup — has been answered.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Giants “plan on having” Thomas in the lineup and that he “returns in good standing” after being late to a meeting last Saturday prior to the game against the Washington Football Team.

Thomas ended up splitting time with fellow rookie Matt Peart, the team’s third-round pick. Peart played well, as did Thomas.

Giants head coach Joe Judge said earlier in the week that he would expect Thomas, Peart and veteran Cam Fleming to all see playing time.

“We expect all of them to be at the game and we expect all of them to play,” Judge said.

Thomas has struggled in the early part of his career. Per Pro Football Focus, his 31 pressures allowed is more than any tackle in the league through six games.
