The New York Giants got mostly good news on the injury front on Sunday morning. Wide receiver Darius Slayton (foot), defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (knee) are active for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football team. Safety Adrian Colbert (shoulder), who was just added to the injury report on Friday, will be inactive.
Another interesting active player is outside linebacker Trent Harris. He was just signed to the practice squad on Wednesday and was elevated from their to the active roster on Saturday. Harris played for Patrick Graham with the Miami Dolphins last season, so he is familiar with much of Graham’s defensive scheme.
With Colbert inactive, Jabrill Peppers is likely to see full-time duty. Peppers played limited snaps last week in his return from an ankle injury. Julian Love, who did not play any defensive snaps in Week 5 vs. the Dallas Cowboys, could also play a role.
