Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Sterling Shepard on the mend

Wide receiver Sterling Shepard, on injured reserve since Week 2 with turf toe, is eligible to return to the active roster this week.

Head coach Joe Judge said on Monday that the Giants would “get him moving around a little bit this week with the trainers early on and see where that’s going to lead as far as him going into practice.”

Wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert said Tuesday he believes Shepard is “very close” to returning.
