Good evening, New York Giants fans!
While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to force the NFL to juggle its schedule on a weekly basis, we’re back to a single Monday Night Football game following the surprise double-header a week ago. This week sees the Los Angeles Chargers travel to take on the New Orleans Saints.
Chargers (1-3) at Saints (2-2)
Game Time: 8:15p.m.
TV Channel: ESPN
Announcers: Steve Levy (play-by-play), Brian Griese (analyst), Louis Riddick (analyst), Lisa Salter (sideline reporter)
Listen: NFL Game Pass | Westwood One | Sirius XM
Stream: NFL Live on Yahoo Sports | NFL App
Odds: Saints - 7
SB Nation sites: Los Angeles Chargers - Bolts From The Blue | New Orleans Saints - Canal Street Chronicals
While the wins have yet to come, Chargers rookie QB Justin Herbert has gotten off to a hot start since taking over for Tyrod Taylor. The Chargers, however, might be without star EDGE Joey Bosa who is dealing with a trio of injuries.
The Saints, meanwhile, will be without star wideout Michael Thomas, who was deactivated for the game following an altercation in practice. Fortunately, the Chargers have struggled to sustain success on offense without RB Austin Eckeler and the Saints have only allowed opposing offenses to break 100 yards rushing once this year.
