The New York Giants trail the Dallas Cowboys 24-20 following a hectic first half of football.
It looked as though the Giants were in for a long game as the Cowboys got the ball to start the game and quickly marched down the field, but the Giants’ defense managed to mitigate the damage and hold Dallas to a field goal.
The momentum quickly flipped for the Giants, who scored their first touchdown since week 2 on their first drive and quickly followed that up by a defensive touchdown on an interception by Kyler Fackrell.
The second quarter didn’t go nearly as well for the Giants, as the Cowboys engineered a methodical touchdown drive before quickly scoring again on a strip-sack returned for a touchdown.
The Giants very nearly had the highlight of the half on a fake punt turned touchdown pass to Evan Engram, but Dallas stole the Giants’ thunder on a touchdown reception by Dak Prescott just before the half.
The Giants as the team lost LB Lorenzo Carter to an Achilles injury on the Cowboys’ first drive.
Use this for your open thread as the Giants get the ball to start the second half.
